Established in 1851, the Ferry Brewery is South Queensferry’s first and only brewery. It has now extended to the High Street to offer a great tasting experience.
The brewery makes a wide range and, for some beers, recreates recipes from original brewers' manuscripts. The flagship range makes strong reference to the local area with Ferry South, Witches Brew, Ferry Fair and Three Bridges.
Located on Bankhead Road, close to Dalmeny Station, you can enjoy a behind-the-scenes guided tour.
On the Ferry Brewery Tour, you’ll find out about the history of brewing in South Queensferry and learn about the process and what it takes to make each pint. Best of all, you’ll feel, smell and taste the malts and hops.
The tour concludes with a tasting session and a pint.
