Forth Bridges Area Tourism Group
The Forth Bridges Forum’s Forth Bridges Area Tourism Strategy was launched on 24 April 2019 by Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs.
The Forth Bridges Area Tourism Group was established in September 2019 to work with partners to deliver the Forth Bridges Area Tourism Strategy and delivery plan.
The purpose of the group is to deliver the Forth Bridges Area Tourism Strategy’s vision:
“By 2030 The Forth Bridges area will be recognised as a sustainable, high quality visitor destination, offering great customer service underpinned by an emotionally valued global brand”
through the strategic outcomes of Creating a Visitor Destination; Offering a Warm Welcome to All; Marketing the Destination; and Looking After the Forth Bridges.
The Group will work with partners to identify appropriate funding sources to implement the activities within the delivery plan and encourage local partnership working across the Forth Bridges area to facilitate the implementation of the strategy.
