Forth Bridge Experience Update 2021

In 2020 Network Rail began a tender process to appoint a main contractor to design and build the new Forth Bridge Walkway Experience. In early 2021 this process was concluded and they are now working closely with Transport Scotland to agree the next steps for the Forth Bridge Experience project.

A spokesperson for Network Rail said: "We know that there has been a high level of interest in this project; Network Rail and Transport Scotland remain committed to opening the Forth Bridge to the public.

"The project team are continuing to develop the proposals and look forward to showcasing the new designs at the earliest opportunity."
