Forth Road Bridge Footpath Markings Refurbishment

30 September 2016Work to refurbish the footpaths on the Forth Road Bridge will commence on Monday 3 October and continue through to Thursday 6 October.
During this period the East footpath will be closed to the public from approximately 09:30 until 16:30 each day, when the West footpath will be open instead.
Cyclists wishing to avoid the steps to the West footpath may call Bridge Control on 0131 319 3083 to arrange a lift.
The work involves the removal and reinstatement of white lines and other road markings, and the installation of improved signage.

In the event of high winds the usual restrictions will apply.
